Terms of service

Last updated: May 2026

1. About Us

NoFroth Coffee ("we", "us", "our") is an online retailer of coffee beans and ground coffee, operating at www.nofroth.coffee. We are a UK-based business selling curated coffee products sourced from third-party suppliers and roasters. We do not roast or manufacture any of the products we sell.

For any enquiries, please contact us at hello@nofroth.coffee.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.

3. Products

3.1 Product Descriptions

We take reasonable care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and information displayed on our website are accurate. However, as we source products from third-party roasters and suppliers, product details — including flavour profiles, origin, and processing methods — are provided to us by those suppliers. We cannot guarantee that all descriptions are entirely free from error.

3.2 Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any product at any time without notice. If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

3.3 We Are Not the Manufacturer

NoFroth Coffee acts as a retailer only. We do not roast, blend, or otherwise manufacture any of the products listed on our website. Products are fulfilled by our third-party suppliers. Any queries specifically relating to the production, sourcing, or roasting of a product will be answered to the best of our knowledge based on information provided to us by the relevant supplier.

4. Ordering

4.1 Placing an Order

By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these terms. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the goods, and no contract is formed until we send you an order confirmation by email and receive payment from you.

4.2 Order Confirmation

Once you have placed an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when we send a dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

4.3 Pricing

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you are charged will be the price displayed at the time you place your order.

4.4 Payment

We accept payment by the methods listed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. All transactions are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
Card data is handled by Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure — Shopify is certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), meaning card data is processed and encrypted at the platform level, not stored on your individual store.
Shopify undergoes SOC 1, SOC 2, and PCI DSS audits regularly to validate these security controls. You can view Shopify's compliance reports here.

5. Delivery

Delivery is subject to our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. We deliver to UK addresses only, excluding BFPO addresses. Delivery is carried out by our third-party suppliers and/or courier partners. While we will always endeavour to ensure prompt delivery, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third parties or circumstances outside our control.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7. Dropshipping & Third-Party Fulfilment

NoFroth Coffee operates on a dropshipping model. This means that when you place an order, it may be fulfilled and dispatched directly by our supplier on our behalf. As a result:

  • The physical sender of your parcel may differ from NoFroth Coffee
  • Packaging may not always carry the NoFroth Coffee branding
  • Fulfilment timescales are partly dependent on our suppliers

Regardless of how your order is fulfilled, your contract is with NoFroth Coffee, and we remain fully responsible for ensuring you receive what you ordered to the standard you would expect.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our website or the products purchased through it, except where such loss is caused by our wilful negligence or breach of statutory duty
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profits or loss of data
  • Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific order
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in our website, branding, images, and content (including text, graphics, logos, and software) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may view and print pages for personal use only. You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our website without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website for any user who breaches these terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we collect, use, and store your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and to process orders. By continuing to use our website, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with our Cookie Policy.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in the law, regulatory requirements, or our business practices. The variation will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. It is your responsibility to check these terms regularly. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
